Caren Carney, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Carney has been a veterinarian for over 15 years. Her passion for animal health started as a child and never stopped. Now she wants to bring personalized pet care to your door. She's especially excited about helping animals with chronic conditions and pet parents with limited mobility or time.

Leisa Jennings, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Leisa Jennings grew up in Georgia. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Since then, Dr. Leisa has been working in small animal private practice helping pets live their best lives. She is fear-free certified and passionate about providing individualized and loving care to her patients. She shares her home with 2 crazy kitties, the world's most spoiled pup, an opionated parrot, and a very understanding husband. When away form the clinic, she enjoys hiking, traveling, gardening, practicing yoga, devouring a good book and investigating spooky places.

Lydia Mercier, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Mercier earned her Animal Science degree from Berry College in Rome, GA, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Since then, she's worked in private practice and with the USDA as a Veterinary Medical Officer. now resides in Gainesville, GA, with her husband Jeremiah, son Noah, and their pets. When not filling in for Dr. Carney and Dr. Rollins, Dr. Mercier enjoys camping with her family, reading, and exploring Hobby Lobby.

Lisa Rollins, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Rollins is a seasoned veterinarian, proudly holding a degree from UGA and boasting 30 years of practice. Her affinity for animals began in her youth and has flourished ever since. In her household, she's accompanied by two spirited boxers, Fiji and Finn. Dr. Rollins is eager to provide personalized care right in the comfort of your home. Your pet's well-being is her priority, and she looks forward to making their health care convenient and stress-free.

Tracey, LVT
Practice Manager
Tracey Kintner is our practice manager and a Licensed Veterinary Technician. While Dr. Carney is out helping animals, Tracey and her team will ensure that your medications get ordered and your questions get answered. Tracey oversees the day to day operation of Vets Off Leash and manages the Technicians and Assistants.

Erika
Business Manager
Meet our skilled Business Manager Erika Newlon. Erika works behind the scenes to ensure that everything is running smoothly. She can assist you with any paperwork questions, or general inquiries.

Bailee
Customer Service Manager
Bailee has spent the last 5 years working with animals from eagles and hawks to dogs and cats. In her free time she can be found reading, crafting, gardening or spending time with Dakota, her American Leopard Hound mix.

Ashley
Veterinary Receptionist
Ashley is our Receptionist and also one of our Housecall Veterinary Assistants. When she isn't in the field you can find her diligently answering your questions, booking your appointments, and helping out in whatever manner possible. Ashley comes to us with 10 years of previous experience in the veterinary field. When she is not at work, you can find Ashley spending time with her family and exploring Georgia's parks.

Ellison
Veterinary Receptionist
​Ellie is an experienced veterinary assistant with over 3 years of hands-on experience. Growing up with German Shorthaired Pointers, Weimaraners, and Boxers, and currently sharing her home with a black kitty named Maverick, Ellie has always had a deep love for animals. A true sports enthusiast (Go Dawgs!), she also enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and baking. With a strong passion for veterinary medicine, Ellie is focused on pursuing a career in the field and hopes to attend veterinary school. ​

Brittney
Veterinary Assistant
With a bachelor degree from the University of Florida in Animal Science – Biology, Brittney has had
the privilege to work in many different animal settings. She has experience with specialized care such as cardiac, pulmonary, and orthopedic cases coupled with many years in the general care of small animals. She loves caring
for animals and the challenge that medicine brings.​​​
